ABOUT US
Archery isn’t just one of the world’s oldest sports, it’s also one of the coolest. Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself, level up your focus, or just try something new, archery is all about precision, strength, and good vibes. In this club, our fam loves welcoming new faces, no matter your age or experience. Ready to hit the mark? Come join us and give archery a shot!
We hold training sessions twice a week at the Admin Building’s MPSH and the Telok Blangah Archery Club (TBAC). Beginners will start off learning Olympic-style recurve on wooden bows, then move on to metal bows when they shift their focus from recreational shooting to training as part of the competitive team. We compete both indoors and outdoors, giving our archers the opportunity to train for all competitions, with distances ranging from 18m all the way to 70m.

"Archery has been a way for me to relax and take a break from studying. It’s more challenging than it may seem, but that’s part of what makes it fun and exciting for me! It also feels really good when you hit the bullseye!"
Yong Weng Kiat, Year 4, Ex Captain (2019)
FAQ
Signups open on the first semester of every Annual Year!
Yes, you can! Just sign up for training and come to shoot! However, training slots priority will be given to the competitive team during competition periods due to the limited boards and space available.
It is definitely not necessary to have your own equipment, as the club is able to provide basic archery equipment. Subsequently, should you wish to progress further in the sport, we recommend that members purchase their own equipment.
We have recurve and compound archers! Unfortunately, we have not expanded to barebow archery.
