Eagles Inc. is a student entrepreneurship club backed by endowed donations from two successful SMU alumni entrepreneurs. As a passionate community of innovators, creators, and disruptors, Eagles Inc. is dedicated to fostering a vibrant culture of entrepreneurship among SMU students. Our club serves as a launchpad for aspiring student entrepreneurs, providing the resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities needed to turn their ideas into successful ventures.​

1. HATCH​

   Embark on a journey of innovation with HATCH, where budding entrepreneurs take flight with their revolutionary ideas. This competition is the incubator for creativity, inviting students who are brimming with business concepts to step into the spotlight. Here, ideas are not merely concepts; they are the seeds of future enterprises, waiting to be nurtured and cultivated. HATCH provides the platform for these visionaries to pitch their ideas, receive valuable feedback, and refine their entrepreneurial acumen. 2. Social Engine​

   Enter the realm of social entrepreneurship with Social Engine, where passion meets purpose to create meaningful impact. This competition is a platform for those who aspire to make a difference in the world, leveraging entrepreneurship as a vehicle for social change. Whether it's tackling environmental sustainability, addressing societal inequalities, or championing humanitarian causes, Social Engine empowers students to channel their entrepreneurial spirit towards building a better tomorrow for all. With cash prizes totaling $3,000, this competition not only rewards innovative solutions but also provides the necessary resources to amplify their impact. Through Social Engine, Eagles Inc. cultivates a generation of changemakers who are committed to building a more equitable and sustainable future for communities around the globe.​

3. PAK Challenge ​

   The PAK Challenge stands as a testament to the potential of the next generation of innovators, inviting students from local polytechnics and universities to unleash their entrepreneurial spirit. With cash prizes up to $70,000, this flagship event of Eagles Inc.'s annual student business plan competitions is a beacon for budding entrepreneurs seeking to make their mark in the world of innovation. Participants are encouraged to think boldly, strategize meticulously, and execute with precision as they compete for top honors. Beyond the allure of cash rewards, the PAK Challenge offers a platform for students to showcase their talents, connect with industry leaders, and gain invaluable experience that will shape their future endeavors. By fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, Eagles Inc. is not only nurturing talent but also fueling the engine of economic growth and driving forward the innovation ecosystem.​

OUR TRAINING

Over four months, this structured entrepreneurship training program, supported by SMU IIE Business Innovation Generator (BIG), industry partners, experts and mentors, offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to guide participants through the intricate journey of startup development. 

From idea validation to prototype refinement and navigating complex business models, the training programme provides a dynamic platform for aspiring innovators to flourish. Through a blend of hands-on workshops, mentorship sessions, and collaborative projects, participants will gain invaluable insights into market analysis, product development strategies, and effective business planning.

2. The Impact of Our Flagship Event PAK Challenge

   Since the Year 2020 edition of the annual PAK Challenge, its platform and support have been instrumental in catalyzing the success of budding entrepreneurs and their startups. With a total of 12 winning startups emerging victorious over the years, the impact has been profound, with these entrepreneurial ventures collectively raising over USD 6.7 million in funding. 

   The PAK Challenge not only provides a launchpad for innovative ideas but also nurtures these startups, equipping them with the necessary resources and guidance to thrive in the competitive landscape of entrepreneurship. Through strategic partnerships, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to investors, the PAK Challenge continues to serve as a cornerstone of support for emerging entrepreneurs, driving forward the growth and success of the startup ecosystem.​
