SMU Career Champions
ABOUT US
The SMU Career Champions (CC) are student career advisors who work hand in hand with SMU's Dato' Kho Hui Meng Career Centre. CC serves the SMU student body by being the bridge between students and the corporate world.
We do so by having weekly consultations where students can come to us on how to improve their resume or have a mock interview. In addition, we also have networking events where students will be better equipped with the skills of how to network and gaining connections.
You can expect CC to help you in terms of discovering your career interests, letting you interact with professionals of your industry of choice, and helping to improve your application in order to increase your chances of getting that dream internship or job.

OUR PEOPLE IN ACTION
DO I NEED TO AUDITION TO GET INTO THE CLUB?
Yes, we do have an interview to get to know you better for the position of a student advisor with us. Just be yourself, and that should be enough!
"Nothing pleases me more than the smiles on students' faces after each consultation and event organised by us. I am extremely thankful to be part of the team that took the leap of faith to restructure and rebrand ourselves, to provide the best career guidance for the student community."
- Morris Lee, Strategy & Operations Director, 7th Executive Committee, School of Business, Year 4
"I had the opportunity to work with a diverse team and interact with students from varied backgrounds. Through this journey, I discovered more about my own strengths, weaknesses and how to leverage or improve on them. Indeed, an eye-opening experience which a 'classroom-setting' may not have provided."
- A S Vishwapriya (Priya), Marketing Director, 7th Executive Committee, School of Business, Year 4
