SMU Aquatic Sharks

ABOUT US

SMU Aquatic Sharks is a swimming and water polo club. We welcome any water sport enthusiasts to join us and participate both competitively and recreationally.

This CCA looks to create an environment that allows both recreational and competitive swimmers / water polo athletes to enjoy the sport while pushing them to become a better athlete and a person. Members will also be given the opportunity to represent SMU in competitions such as Singapore University Games and Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic Games. Trainings are held on a weekly basis, allowing each member to hone their skills and also bond with fellow teammates.

KEY EVENTS

  1. Swim Sharkie Swim
Annual charity swim organized by Aquatic Sharks. Combining both our passion for swimming and the desire to give back to the community, the event aims to bring people together to swim for a good cause. With each lap swam, a determined dollar amount will be contributed by our sponsors and this money will then be used to support and raise awareness for our beneficiaries. The event is open to the entire SMU community and members of the public are welcomed.

*Due to COVID-19, format of the event may change
