Academic-Based Clubs
SMU Law Sports and Recreation Club
ABOUT US
As a sub-club of The Bar, our club works towards the collective goal of improving the welfare of law students and making campus life vibrant. Specifically, we organise sporting events to upkeep a healthy balance between work and recreation in law school. Our events often provide networking opportunities between students in the various law schools and legal professionals as well. This is made possible by the key event of Law Fraternity Games which occur annually. Do look out for new initiatives such as the fortnightly MaRUNa event as well as upcoming collaborations with spin studios!

"Law school is never dull with SPARC around. During the semester, I look forward to maRUNa where I get to unwind with my friends and enjoy the scenic view of Marina Bay. Most importantly, SPARC offers the best post run welfare!"
- Silas See, Y3, YPHSL
"Over the past semester, SPARC has organised many simple yet effective events that my friends and I have thoroughly enjoyed. Amidst the studying, SPARC was a breath of fresh air, and full credit goes to its hard working team!"
- Amar Pandey, Y2, YPHSL
FAQ
Look out for our MaRUNa events which will be slated to take place fortnightly or even more often in the new semester! The Law Fraternity Games and other one-off events will only occur depending on the Covid-19 situation. These will all be broadcasted to the student community so do not fret that you will miss them out :)
