XSEED is SMU’s premier outdoor adventure sports club, offering students the chance to push boundaries and dive into adrenaline-pumping experiences.
Beyond our regular local activities, XSEED occasionally organises spontaneous thrill-seeking collaborations with other SMUX clubs.
Whether you’re a seasoned adrenaline junkie or looking to step out of your comfort zone, XSEED gives you the platform to grow holistically, develop your sporting abilities, and connect with like-minded peers.

- Longboarding
A longer, wider board built for smooth cruising and high-speed downhill rides that is stable enough for beginners, yet with plenty of room to grow. - Cable Boarding
Singapore Wake Park offers cable wakeboarding, where an overhead, motor-driven cable system pulls riders across the water instead of a boat. It features a clear progression: beginners start on the controlled System A, advance to System B for turns, and graduate to the Full-Size Cable. - Stand Up Paddling
Stand-up paddling has you balancing on a large, stable board while using a long paddle to glide across the water. A fun, low-impact activity that's easy to pick up and endlessly enjoyable. - Trifecta Snow/Surf
Trifecta Snowboarding Simulation & Surf is an immersive indoor center offering advanced virtual snow simulators and a deep-water surf wave generator for all skill levels.

How To Join
Students do not need to audition/ interview to join the club. SMUX XSEED’s community is welcome to participants from all backgrounds and interests, we do not require any of our members to undergo an audition as we believe outdoor sports are meant for everyone and anyone.

XSEED actively works with OSL and OSS to ensure a high standard of risk mitigation and good safety management. Hence, our exhilarating activities can be enjoyed safely without significant risks.
XSEED is an incubator for new outdoor adventure activities in SMU’s vibrant student community. We actively work towards a conducive learning environment, where students of all proficiencies can participate regardless of prior experience. Hence, it is not difficult to pick up our activities despite the unfamiliarity.
XSEED believes in strength through diversity — by providing a myriad of opportunities, we hope that our members can grow holistically and broaden their knowledge/proficiency in less mainstream outdoor adventure sports.
You sign up via google forms in EDMs sent to your school email account or in our Telegram group. Sign ups are by a first come first serve basis and they always fill up quickly, so join our Telegram group to receive immediate notifications when sign-ups begin!
