SMUX is the CCA student constituent body that represents the outdoor and adventure wing of SMU. Established in 2000, we are a tight-knit family of 6 clubs - Biking, Diving, Kayaking, Skating, Trekking and Xseed (board sports)!
SMUX prides itself on being inclusive, crafting accessible events catered to students of all experience levels, and offering both local and overseas opportunities to explore the outdoors. Through these avenues, SMUX facilitates personal development and growth through adventure.

KEY EVENTS
- Euphorux
Organised by our very own SMUX members, Euphorux is our annual orientation programme catered to incoming freshmen! Think three days of jam-packed activities that showcase the exciting outdoor sports offered by our six unique clubs - Diving, Trekking, Skating, Biking, Kayaking, and XSeed, featuring their longboarding sessions! - Welfare drives
Recognising the academic pressure students face in university, SMUXPloration Crew organises a welfare drive each semester to celebrate the end of the term with free food and drinks! Additionally, each drive features engaging activities ranging from handicraft stations to photobooths, wholesome fun for all! - Special events
To push the boundary of adventure, SMUXploration Crew also holds special semester events for our members! From networking nights where we invite outdoor industry experts to share their experiences, to surprise welfare drives and award ceremonies to celebrate our participants' efforts, stay tuned for more events!
