About Us

At SMU Fitnessworks, we’re all about helping you feel good — physically, mentally, and socially. Our mission is to empower students to embrace wellness and build lasting friendships through engaging and inclusive fitness activities. From HIIT and Pilates to Barre, Yoga, and more, there’s something for everyone, no matter your fitness level.  We strive to create a supportive space where like-minded individuals can connect, grow, and share their love for fitness.

  1. 💫Weekly sessions
    Take a break from work/studies and join us for our weekly Yoga, Pilates or HIIT sessions. Sign ups open at the start of the semester and we can't wait to see you there~      
  2. 💫 Feel Fresh Friday
    Kick off your semester with our Feel Fresh Friday trial sessions! Unsure which workout suits you best? Try out a mix of classes — from HIIT to Yoga — before signing up for the full semester. No commitment, just good vibes and a great sweat.      
  3. 💫 Special Events
    Every semester, we host a members exclusive welfare drive to celebrate the spirit of Fitness! Additionally, we also present a unique signature event to bring something fresh and exciting to the Fitnessworks community. Stay tuned for ours~

How To Join

All students are welcomed but sessions will be on a first come first serve sign up basis. Weekly session sign-ups will open on the first few weeks of school. Do keep a look out for our socials and EDMs.

Our weekly fitness sessions are conducted by experienced and certified instructors who we engage specifically for their expertise in their respective fields, whether it’s HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, or Barre. We work with professionals to ensure that every class is safe, effective, and beginner-friendly, so you can get the most out of your workout with proper guidance and motivation!

Nope, you don’t need to bring your own equipment! We’ll provide all the necessary and appropriate gear for each class — including yoga mats, weights for HIIT, resistance bands, and more. Just come in comfy workout attire and bring a water bottle — we’ll handle the rest!

All are welcome, regardless of experience or fitness levels. Instructors offer modifications to poses and classes are conducted in small groups, making it easy to follow at your own pace.

Yes many of our participants sign up for our weekly classes and events on their own. Its a friendly and welcoming space so just come with a positive and open mind!
