About Us
SMU Intellectual Sports is a recreational mindsports club. Our club comprises 3 games: Riichi Mahjong, International Chess, and Texas Hold’em Poker.
Members meet up on a weekly basis to unwind and play their favourite mind-sport with friends, challenge themselves, and most importantly, have fun! We welcome everyone regardless of skill level and experience!

Our membership is free! Fill in the initiation form here https://forms.gle/nnMizA7SoGnqfE4Z6 to be considered a member. To be eligible for welfare, you will have to attend 5 weekly sessions or 2 events and 1 weekly session across the year (pro-rated for freshmen!)
Of course! We have players of all levels and are extremely welcoming towards newcomers. All of us are just here for a fun time!
You are welcome to come in at any time and leave at any point! We understand students have very busy schedules and we are very happy to have students join us for part of the session.
Yes, you are welcome to come even if you are not a member, but it is recommended to become a member for your attendance to be tracked so that you are eligible for welfare!
